Veterans' Preference
Veterans' Preference will be given to eligible veterans and their spouses in accordance with Chapter 295 of the Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code Chapter 55-7A with respect to Veterans' Preference in appointment, retention and promotion. (Link)

If you would like to apply for employment, but do not have access to the internet, you may visit the Tax Collector's Service Center in Bartow during regular office hours to complete and submit an online application. Public libraries also provide computers and internet access for the public.
